JIKS (Journal of Interdisciplinary Knowledge Studies) implements a peer review process to ensure the quality and scientific integrity of all submitted manuscripts.

1. Initial Screening
Submitted manuscripts are first evaluated by the editor to ensure they align with the journal’s scope and meet formatting and administrative requirements.

2. Plagiarism Screening
Manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using appropriate software. Manuscripts that do not meet originality standards will be rejected.

3. Review Process
JIKS applies a double-blind peer review system, where both authors’ and reviewers’ identities are concealed. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two qualified reviewers.

4. Reviewer Decision
Reviewers provide one of the following recommendations:

  • Accept without revision
  • Accept with minor revisions
  • Accept with major revisions
  • Reject

5. Revision Process
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ comments within the given timeframe.

6. Final Decision
The editor makes the final decision based on reviewers’ evaluations and the revised manuscript.

7. Publication
Accepted manuscripts will be scheduled for publication in the journal’s regular issues (May, August, and December).
