Author Guidelines
Journal of Integrative Knowledge and Society (JIKS) invites authors to submit original research articles, review papers, case studies, and essays across a wide range of disciplines. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure high academic standards and relevance. Authors are required to follow the guidelines below.
General Submission Requirements
- Originality: Manuscripts must be original and not previously published or under consideration elsewhere.
- Language: Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise, and formal English or Bahasa Indonesia.
- Formatting:
- Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word format.
- Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, with 1.5 line spacing.
- Include a title, abstract (200–250 words), 5–6 keywords, and references.
- The manuscript length should be between 3,000 and 7,000 words, including references and appendices.
- References: All sources must be properly cited using in-text citations and a reference list following APA 7th Edition style.
Manuscript Structure
- Title: A concise and informative title reflecting the content of the manuscript.
- Abstract: A summary of 200–250 words covering the objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions.
- Keywords: Provide 5–6 relevant keywords.
- Introduction: Clearly state the research problem, objectives, and significance of the study.
- Literature Review: Present relevant theories and previous studies supporting the research.
- Methodology: Describe the research design, methods, and procedures used.
- Results and Discussion: Present findings along with critical analysis and interpretation.
- Conclusion: Summarize key findings and highlight their significance.
- References: List all cited works in APA 7th Edition format.
Submission Process
- Online Submission: Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system.
- Peer Review: All submissions undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
- Revisions: Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ comments.
Ethical Considerations
- Authors must ensure that their research complies with applicable ethical standards, including obtaining approval from relevant ethics committees when necessary.
- Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to their research.
